Chatfield 10 Miler

The course will be a trail run this year. The route will be an out and back over mostly single track trails much of which is wooded.


Directions:
From C470, exit at Wadsworth. Go south about 4.5 miles. Turn left at the sign for Waterton Canyon. Go down the road to the BIG parking lot on the left. The Race starts in the parking lot. See the MapQuest Map for Details.

Hazards on the trail


These are some of the "hazards" you might find while running the Chatfield 10-miler

You will be required to yield to horses, although there should be very few until after 10:00 AM.


You also might want to avoid this hazard left behind by the horses




Poison Ivy (Leaves of three, let it be) has been seen near the trail, so keep an eye out


There will be some logs to cross. Pick up your feet!


You will need to refresh your feet in this small stream at about 3.5 and 6.5 miles on your way back
