South Valley 10K and Kids Run

The South Valley 10K and Kids Run was held again at Jefferson County Open Space South Valley Park and Ken Carl Ranch. The same courses as last year were utilized. This year provided for a near-perfect day and great course conditions!

We had 58 10k racers, 6 race walkers, and 5 kids runners. The field included groups from the Denver Rescue Mission and Denver North High School.

The Overall winners were Joseph Manilafasha (Denver North HS) (40:29) and Lindsay Krause (46:44).

The Kids Run utilized the same course as last year; a short, out-and-back, trail run approximately 1/3 mi. All kid runners received participation/finishers ribbons.
