SATURDAY June 7. Come up to scenic Elk Meadow Open Space for an exhilarating 5.75 mile trail run. This is a timed event that starts and ends near the Lewis Ridge Trail Head. Directions: Take I-70 west to exit 252. Take Evergreen parkway (Highway 74) south to Lewis Ridge Rd. Turn east on Lewis Ridge Rd. away from the park, and then south on the highway 74 frontage rd. Parking and registration are in the US Bank parking lot at 2922 Evergreen Parkway. See the Google Map for directions.
