RRCA Colorado State 6K XC Championship and Colorado Middle School Runner Challenge 3K
Saturday, May 9 at 8:00 AM - Sand Creek Greenway, Denver, CO


Adult runners will compete over a 6K distance on a course starting and finishing at the Smith Road Trailhead of the Sand Creek Greenway in Denver. The venue will include unpaved paths and single trails along Sand Creek. Conditions may vary from dusty to muddy based on weather conditions and may include creek crossings if the water level in the creek is low. Adults will run two 3K loops. Middle school participants (aged 11-14 and grades 6-8) participating in the Colorado Middle School Runner Challenge event will do only one 3K loop of the course. The Middle School Challenge event is capped at 60 participants. Online registration is $9.24 at http://www.RunningGuru.com/Event/COMSRC Race day registration is $10. Ribbons to all middle school registrants and medals and long sleeve shirts to the top 3 boys and girls in each of the 11, 12, and 13 - 14 year old age groups.

Directions:
From I-70, take Havana Street south 0.4 miles to Smith Road, then head west 0.6 miles to the parking lot for the Smith Road Trailhead of the Sand Creek Greenway.
