Colorado Middle School Runner Challenge 3K
Saturday, May 13 at 8:00 AM - Great Lawn Park and Kelley Open Space, Denver, CO


This cross country style 3k (1.8 mile) running event is only open to current or graduating public or private middle school students (6th grade through 8th grade) ages 11-14 attending schools in Colorado. It is presented by CMRA in collaboration with McAuliffe International School (Denver Public Schools). The race starts and finishes at Denver Parks and Recreation's Great Lawn Park. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and capped at 100 middle school participants. Race day registration is $15.

Award ribbons to all finishers. Free pair of Nike shoes to top overall male and female finishers. Award medals and t-shirts to top 3 boys and top 3 girls in the following age groups:  11 (6th grade); 12 (7th grade); 13 and 14 (8th grade). Other items will be given away in a random prize drawing.

Directions:
The park is located east of Uinta Way, west of Yosemite Street, and north of East Lowry Boulevard in Denver.
