Pick up your bibs inside the Halfpenny Brewing Company.
The Spring Spree Race is an out-and-back 10K running and 5K race walking course that starts and finishes north of the Halfpenny Brewing Co. across E. Arapahoe Rd. The race starts on S. Forest Way, a north-south street on the west side of the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. There is a pedestrian cross walk with a signal switch that crosses E. Arapahoe Rd.
The race course heads north from the start line to the Little Dry Creek Trail where runners and race walkers turn left and follow the trail until it intersects the High Line Canal. At this junction the race course turns right, traveling north on the High Line Canal, over E. Orchard Rd. before turning around near Belleview Avenue. The 10K and 5K courses follow the outbound trail back to the finish line. The 5K race walking turn-around will be clearly marked on the trail.
